Whenever Bill Maher says Religion is the big bad evil I want to choke him with his own hooka. Hitler, Pol Pot, Mao, and Stalin where all athiest leaders who slaughtered more than 100 million people. (often times their own people.) While Ghandi, Mother Theresa, and Martin Luther King where all pretty amazing vehicles for peace and love; yet they were all highly religious.
The point is, beliefs don’t really matter. The greatest philosophers never wrote anything down. You’re either an asshole or yer not.
For instance if you’re a christian who judges people and thinks gay marriage and abortion is wrong… do everyone a favor and go fuck yourself. Christs whole message is about love and helping the poor and those less fortunate than yourself. Not building a mega-church and hating on people. Admit it, you are just a childish asshole who thinks God is your daddy and he can beat up all the other daddy’s. Life, love and God are concepts we’ll never truly comprehend… so be humble and stop being a fucking jerk. Jesus was pretty cool, don’t make him look bad by being a dick. Oh and stop using God as a scapegoat while yer at it.
And Atheist’s? Yeah we get it. Now stop argueing with dumb people and lets make some rock-n-roll.
There are 2 ways to be… fearful or loving - and lets be fucking honest. In this world we are hard wired to live out of fear. For millions of years we’ve relied on this fear instinct to survive. We need fear, use it. But if you are in the family/tribe/relationship - there is love. Now we’re all in the same big fucking stupid family - so love. Stop trying to throw people out. (I mean unless they suck or won’t stop texting)
