Where the self-obsessed get serious about silly
I'm too wacky to be hip.

    • ------------------------------------- How this blog got its name

------------------------------------ There was a large painting of Evel Knievel shaking hands with Richard Nixon. It hung in the Mayors office. Late one evening after everyone went home. I took it down to the lab. I zoomed in on Evel’s left eye a 100x and enhanced it. It was an address. I went to the address. It was a modest, 1970’s style, split level ranch home in the suburbs.

----------------------------------- Inside I found a dead parrot lying on a waterbed. I revived the parrot with some saltines and adrenaline. We became good friends. The parrots name was Randy. One night a few years later while Randy and me played Gin Rummy, he sang me a song about a fire. The title of this blog was never mentioned but I sensed it, and Randy confirmed it by giving me ‘THE LOOK’.

The universe gave itself a reach-around

ate animal intestines stuffed with its own meat

            drank fermented wheat and howled

            in the street

because Jesus don’t have to work tomorrow.

I think it was Freud who said the ego, is like Jason from the Friday the 13th movies. The ego won’t die. In fact, in Freud’s universe, there is no hero… its just ego trying to destroy the ego. Jason trying to kill himself - not as a suicide, just one Jason killing another Jason, but none of the Jason’s ever die.

Like in Scooby-Doo they catch the killer and pull off its mask but the villain is an even worse monster underneath. And then Fred pulls off his mask and he’s a monster and Shaggy & Velma and everyone keeps pulling off thier masks and they’re all monsters.

Or perhaps there is a reality where you pull off the monster mask and everyone is lovely and then you hear the sexy music… Is that what heaven is? All the monsters; war - famine - murder - rape & Ect. are actually revealed to be an awesome 3-way and everyone has happy, screaming orgasms and then some cake?

Or is it just Friday the 13th pt 7 billion and all the Jason’s never tire of killing each other. (they never even stop for a spot of tea)

Its probably something more in the middle…  a sad killer eating cake all alone without even a balloon animal to strangle.
